About Angela

Angela is an experienced and dynamic educationalist specialising in English, assessment and whole-school improvement across the primary and secondary phases. She has relished the opportunities she’s had to work at a strategic level, providing leadership and guidance to a range of organisations in order to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

As an education improvement professional and English lead for two local authorities Angela helped to build high-quality leadership at all levels and develop excellent practice in a range of schools. Since 2016, Angela has combined a senior strategic leadership role within a MAT with outreach consultancy, working with a range of individual schools, local authorities in London and Berkshire and other national organisations such as the Standards and Testing Agency. Now operating as an independent consultant, Angela is excited about the prospect of consolidating and growing her professional network.

Angela believes strongly in the value of professional collaboration and has facilitated many practitioner networks to spread effective practice, as well as coaching and mentoring individual colleagues. She works in partnership with a breadth of professional organisations such as the Education Endowment Foundation, the National Research Schools’ Network, and the Association for Achievement and Improvement through Assessment to share the most up to date and evidence-informed guidance with her network of senior and middle leaders.
